Iliah Feldman was born in 1955 in Russia. He is a graduate of College of the Arts and earned a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnical College of the city of Samara. By the time he immigrated to Israel in 1990, he had accumulated a great experience as a jeweler, engineer in the jewelry industry, designer, producer and creator of unique jewelry pieces. Throughout this time he also worked in the restoration of antique arts and jewelry.
Since 1995 Ilya has worked in his private studio in Huzot Ha-Yozer in Jerusalem, overlooking the walls of the Old City. Ilya creates Judaica jewelry that is original and unique, combining elements of various styles - from Neo-Classicism and Art Nouveau up to the most modern concepts. His work in a variety of materials, including precious metals and gems, displays mastery of varied techniques, such as carving, casting, engraving, guilloché and enameling.
