Artists' Colony in Jerusalem – Chutzot Hayotzer Two years after the reunification of Jerusalem in 1967 the old stables located in the former no-mans-land between the old and the new cities, were renovated and transformed into a vibrant artists street of twenty-six studio \ galleries. The area was dubbed Chutzot Hayotzer – The Courtyard of creativity. Here in carefully selected Israeli artists working in both traditional and contemporary styles create and share their work in a variety of media such as Jewelry, Judaica, sculpture, painting, ceramics and leather work.
